Throughout the completion of this digital badge assignment, I learned a lot about myself and my social media use. The management of multiple social media platforms is more difficult that it appears to be, this is mainly because of the abundance of information and social media platforms that and these social media platforms can change us and how we act (Malita, 2011). This assignment required us to make a Pinterest account and when I attempted to make an account using my email, I realised that I already had an account that I made years ago. This really surprised me and really shows how complex it is to manage multiple social media accounts. I had no prior experience using pocket or my google maps, but I feel that they are quite useful and hope to use them more in the future, pocket especially as I found its functionality quite interesting and it really simplifies the social media experience as a whole.
The peer reviews of my video analysis of what I have learned all mentioned that they found it interesting that I forgot that I had a Pinterest profile, and how it made them realise how frivolous we all are with social media. One of my peers also mentioned that they thought I should mention how other individuals would find these social media platforms useful, and I will keep this in mind for the next assignment.
